Office of the President
John A. Nunes, PhD
Welcome to ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½!
God is up to great things at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½, and I am glad to be able to share all of
them with you as the university’s president.
ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ is a community of learning on a beautiful campus where everyone matters. In many ways, it is an antidote to our world of digitized anonymity and overheated, irresponsible rhetoric. Here at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½, your voice matters — and respect for others is essential.
I am honored to serve ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ by helping to galvanize a uniquely talented team
of regents, faculty and staff in educating students for a global society.

Inclusion & Belonging
Faculty and staff at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ are called to challenge barriers and prepare students to lead a life of meaning and purpose in pursuit of socially-just communities.
Shared Governance
Our approach to shared governance is designed to advance the university's mission and promote a common good that prioritizes student learning and experience.
Strategic Plan
As ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ moves into its seventh decade, three strategic goals that arise from our identity, mission and values will be emphasized through 2027.
